Vice-President of the European Parliament Nicola Beer spoke in favor of imposing sanctions against Belarusian judges, writes Radio Liberty.

Personal sanctions against law enforcement officers are not enough. We must extend them to the judiciary and law enforcement agencies, Lukashenka’s supporters, ”Beer said in her speech at the online conference“ Solidarity with Belarus on Saturday.

She added that European countries “must seek a balance between pressure and cooperation with the Belarusian authorities”.
