Report on the alleged violation of the rights of minors<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2007, being in the Kingdom of Sweden territory, I lived with the Belarusian citizen Liudmila Arkadeyevna Trafimovich. During our life together, we have had two minor daughters \u2013 Anthoula Anthie\u2019 Cheropoulou, born on June 08, 2012, and Alexandra Cheropoulou, born on April 01, 2015, who was born and permanently resided at the address: Sweden, Stockholm, Dansbanev\u00e4gen 28, 126 31 H\u00e4gersten, before their removal to the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am currently outside the Republic of Belarus and I have received information that my youngest daughter, Alexandra Cheropoulou is being hospitalized together with L.A. Trafimovich in one of the health facilities of the city of Minsk, presumably with a diagnosis of coronavirus COVID-19. I do not know for sure in what conditions and who is currently taking care of my eldest daughter Anthie Cheropoulou, and I am reasonably afraid for her life and health.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In accordance with Article 17 of Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 2570-XII dated November 19, 1993 (as amended on May 11, 2016), \u201cOn the Rights of the Child\u201d, parents (guardians, custodians) must create the necessary conditions for the full development, upbringing, education, and health of the child and prepare him or her for an independent life in the family and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parents (guardians, custodians) are required to accompany children under the age of sixteen years from 23.00 to 6.00 when outside the house or to ensure their accompaniment by adults.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Violation of the rights and legitimate interests of the child by the parents (guardians, custodians) entails liability provided for by legislative acts of the Republic of Belarus.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under such circumstances, on the basis of Clause 11.2 of Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 1676 dated October 28, 1999 (as amended on January 30, 2019), \u201cOn the Approval of the Regulation on Guardianship and Custody Authorities in the Republic of Belarus\u201d,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I DEMAND:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To conduct a survey at the address: Minsk, 64-24, Kizhevatova Str., as well as a survey of persons in order to obtain the necessary information to establish the location and state of health, as well as to suppress a possible violation of the rights and legitimate interests of my two minor daughters \u2013 Anthie\u2019 Anthoula Cheropoulou, born on June 08, 2012, and Alexandra Cheropoulou, born on April 01, 2015, and to inform me of the results of the survey within the terms established by law.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few days after my Appeal was sent, I was also informed that my elder daughter Anthie\u2019, also were infected by COVID-19 by their mother, who was infected at the Monastery St. Elisabeth\u2019s Convent! There are people with consciousness, dignity, and self-respect in Belarus who understood what I was going through. Don\u2019t make any mistake, I was not informed by the Belarusian Authorities! <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Trafimovich endangered my children,<\/em> but nobody seemed to care or to react!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Addition:<\/strong>
KARPENKO is and has been responsible for, engaging in, providing support for, and promoting: (1) the repression of civil society and democratic opposition in Belarus and (2) actions and activities that undermine democracy and the rule of law in Belarus.\u202f<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
