My goal was simple: to ensure my daughters remained proficient in Greek and Swedish and to nurture Anthie’s extraordinary mathematical mind.
At just four years old, Anthie demonstrated a rare and beautiful gift for mathematics. She saw the world through logic and numbers, a talent that deserved to be cultivated with care. Instead, Liudmila met every offer of educational support with cold refusal. There was no logical explanation, no concern for the girls’ academic growth, only a steadfast determination to reject anything associated with their father.
The Silencing of a Gifted Spirit
The psychological impact of this obstruction is devastating. In our last true conversation on June 13, 2021, I heard the weight of the world in Anthie’s young voice. She spoke with a sense of urgency that no child should have to carry, telling me: “I must take care of this before it is too late, Daddy”!
Since that haunting conversation, Liudmila has completely severed the line. My calls go unanswered; my messages disappear into a void. The idea of a simple video call via Skype or Viber has been treated as an impossibility. By engineering a language barrier, Liudmila has ensured that even if we were to meet, we would be reduced to communicating through gestures. This is a profound cruelty, to render a father and his children foreigners to one another.
The Mechanics of Alienation and Manipulation
To deal with a self-centered and manipulative abductor is to witness the slow dismantling of a child’s potential. Liudmila’s actions are not those of a protective mother, but of a gaoler. She prioritizes her control over her daughters’ future careers and intellectual horizons.
Fluency in multiple languages and a mastery of mathematics would have opened doors for Anthie and Alexandra across the globe. Instead, those doors are being systematically locked. Liudmila’s primary mission is not the enrichment of our children, but the total elimination of my presence from their hearts and minds.

She is sabotaging their future to satisfy a personal vendetta, ensuring they remain dependent on the narrow reality she has created for them.
